AYN has been on a roll lately with their Thor handheld, and I have been loving seeing what they are creating. And with the Odin 3 coming soon (our impressions will be out this week), there's a lot to be excited for. However, AYN's Odin 2 and Odin 2 Portal are still very competent devices, and if you want to pick them up for yourself, now is the time, since they are holding a Black Friday deal for both of them!

AYN Odin 2 / Portal Black Friday deal

The AYN Odin 2 and Portal have a special code to take off $50 from the full price! All you have to do is add the handheld you want to the cart and put in the code: aynsave50. This can put a pretty nice dent in the full price, and makes these handhelds definitely worth a look.

The Odin 2 and Portal are pretty similar handhelds, both having the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, meaning they have similar power, but there is one big difference: the screen. The Odin 2 has a 6-inch IPS panel, while the Portal has a 7-inch AMOLED panel. While it is a small difference in the grand scheme, this makes a huge difference when actually playing games, with the AMOLED panel making games look more vibrant and blacks being truly dark.

Each handheld does have multiple configurations and color schemes, and while I love the OLED screens, getting an Odin 2 refurbished with the Max configuration (16GB RAM + 512GB Storage) for $249 is a pretty amazing deal. Still, you can't go wrong with either, and with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip still holding its own in emulation and general gaming, this could be a very worthwhile deal.

You can get the Odin 2 and Odin 2 Portal over on AYN's website. And remember to use the code aynsave50 to get $50 off your purchase. The code only lasts until December 1st, so get in while you still can!
