If you're a handheld gamer like us, you're always looking around to see what companies besides Valve are doing in the space, and AYANEO is one of the big names to keep an eye on. To prove that point, AYANEO just released a 4-minute video showcasing some of the features that will be present on the AYANEO 3, their new flagship device, including swappable controller modules. There's also a tease of a livestream event tomorrow (December 26th) at 7 AM EST.

We still don't know too much about the specifications of the device yet, other than the focus seems to be on customizability, with the option to switch out the joysticks for trackpads, move individual buttons into their ideal places for you, even having a 6 face-button configuration if you were a fan of SEGA's design back in the day. They're also promising improved vibration feedback with a new style of motor in the device.

We do know that there will be 2 models, one with a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, and a cheaper model with a Ryzen 7 8840U, as well as LCD and OLED models, being available in 2 colorways, white and black.

We also have no word on pricing or a release date for the AYANEO 3 yet, but the end of the video does sign off by mentioning that there will be a livestream tomorrow (December 26th) at 7 AM EST, so it's quite likely we'll get a full reveal of specs along with a potential release date and pricing at the event, so it's definitely something you'll want to tune in for if you've recovered from your previous evening!
