A new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released yesterday with a couple of bug fixes. There was a fix for the new Display-Off downloads that could cause a delay before finishing downloads and make your device sleep if it recently received any sort of user input. There was also a bug fixed with the PlayStation controller light bar settings not sticking after the controller calibration page.

You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause a delay between finishing downloads and going to sleep if the device had recently received user input.
