During AYANEO’s Product Sharing Showcase held this morning, the company showed off a handful of upcoming projects. The presentation focused heavily on upcoming hardware releases, with AYANEO pairing each announcement with short feature explanations and gameplay demonstrations from company CEO Arthur Zhang.

The first reveal was the Arcade Home x Pocket AIR Mini, a retro-focused handheld built around arcade nostalgia both visually and functionally. The system features an IGS-themed colorway that combines a deep maroon-like red shell with light gold buttons and accents. Compared to the cleaner and more understated styling seen across many modern retro handhelds, the Pocket AIR Mini stands out with a much flashier and more arcade-inspired appearance.

AYANEO Pocket AIR Mini IGS Collaboration

The handheld is also being co-manufactured with IGS and includes an official license to ship with select IGS titles preloaded directly onto the device. For those unfamiliar, IGS, short for International Games System, is a Taiwanese arcade hardware and game developer best known for arcade releases that became especially popular throughout Asia during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The company built a strong reputation during the arcade era, making the collaboration feel much more authentic than a standard themed edition or cosmetic crossover.

AYANEO also demonstrated a dedicated emulator built specifically for IGS platform games. Instead of using a basic launcher interface, the emulator uses a skeuomorphic design inspired by classic arcade cabinets. Visual elements throughout the interface resemble old arcade control panels and cabinet layouts, helping reinforce the overall arcade theme the company is aiming for with the device.

The Arcade Home Pocket AIR Mini will launch through IGG, short for Indiegogo, a crowdfunding platform commonly used for retro handheld and enthusiast gaming hardware launches. Pricing will start at $129.99 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage configuration. A higher-end version featuring 3GB of RAM and 64GB of stora/topge will be available for $139.99.

KONKR Pocket Block

Arthur followed the Pocket AIR Mini x Arcade Home announcement with a quick showcase of what looks to be a competitor to the TrimUI Brick and the Miyoo Mini Plus devices of years past. The Pocket Block will be released under the KONKR "budget" sub brand and appears to feature a 4:3 aspect ratio and a smaller overall body, but separates itself from those devices by running Android natively out of the box.

KONKR Pocket Block

AYANEO did not disclose a price point, but based on the images shared and the market position the device seems aimed at, I would expect something similar to the Helio G99 found in the AYANEO Pocket Micro. It would allow for Android support, already exists within AYANEO’s lineup, and would align with the company’s tendency to release devices that are slightly overpowered for their form factors.
