I have fond memories playing Darkest Dungeon, and Darkest Dungeon 2 brings back a lot of those same feelings. Just like the previous game, this gritty roguelike will have you form a party of heroes, equip them and your stagecoach, and go on a road trip across the dying landscape to try stopping the apocalypse. It's brutal, yet so much fun, and it is getting a bit better on the Steam Deck with the latest update.

The new Steadfast Steward update for the game has tons of changes and improvements across the board, but there's one specific change that should help on the Steam Deck. The default font size has changed on PC to be slightly smaller, so there's a new Larger Font Size option that will help on the Steam Deck. It is the new default for the Deck as well, so we won't have to change a thing after the update!
The Steadfast Steward update has a ton of changes across the board and should really improve how the game plays in general. Weak tokens have been changed to apply the 50% reduction after all other modifiers, you can re-roll memories and memories heroes can be renamed, and some battle modifiers have been edited to increase variety. There have also been a ton of changes for heroes and their abilities, as well as some bug fixes.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Darkest Dungeon 2 is on sale for $19.99 until July 24th and is rated Verified.
