Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is still getting plenty of support from Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment, and the latest update, entitled "Datavault" has just launched, bringing with it new free content, season pass cosmetics, and quality-of-life improvements.
You can check out the update's trailer down below:
The main addition in this update is the eponymous Datavault. This Datavault is a new Battle-Barge chamber where players can accumulate Research Data and then exchange them for Requisition Points, new cosmetics, and new armor pieces.
A new PvP map is also being added to Space Marine 2's Eternal War mode, this is a Necron-themed "Tomb" map, plus players of the game's Operations mode will get to face off against the new Tyranid Biovore enemy.
A whole host of cosmetics are being added for Season Pass owners, including the Raven Guard Cosmetic Pack and the Salamanders Champion Pack, with over 40 different cosmetics being added.
Finally, a sixth and final difficulty setting entitled "Absolute" has been added, and the ability to opt in/out of Crossplay matches for PvP, a FoV slider, and balance changes to perks have been introduced.
More details can be found in the official “Datavault” patch notes.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is available now on Steam. The game has middling performance on Steam Deck, so if you do have another way to play the game, that would be best.
