A new month is here, and this is one I have been particularly excited for! October has had some incredible game releases, and with the new month, we can now see which ones made it into the Top 20 most played games from the previous one! I was particularly curious to see where Metaphor: ReFantazio and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero would end up, and I will say I was not disappointed!

Compared to last month's list, we have a couple of changes:

New Games Added:

  • Metaphor: ReFantazio
  • Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
  • Halls of Torment
  • TCG Card Shop Simulator
  • Hades 2

Games That Left:

  • Grand Theft Auto 5
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  • No Man's Sky
  • Monster Hunter: World
  • Core Keeper

While Metaphor and Sparking Zero are both playable on the Steam Deck, they aren't perfect, which makes me even happier that they are up so high! I was also a bit surprised to see Hades 2 and Halls of Torment make a return, but even more shocked that TCG Card Shop Simulator has made it on the list! This is overall a great list of games though, and it's hard not to recommend playing each one on the Steam Deck.
