Cozy games are still experiencing their heyday right now, with indies taking the fore at creating new and interesting experiences from what would generally be viewed as a fairly mundane task. Enter 'Undusted: Letters from the Past'. In Undusted, players take on the role of returning to their family home after their mother's passing, going through old belongings in the house, and uncovering lost memories as they do so.

Using a beautiful 3D-pixelated art style, Undusted aims to offer players a relaxing, almost ASMR-like experience, as they take a journey back through time to explore the family past of the protagonist via cleaning meaningful household items from yesteryear.
The developer and publisher seem like a good mix, with the CEO of Toge Productions mentioning that they find Undusted to be a relaxing and heartwarming experience, while the Game Director of Undusted is a fan of Coffee Talk and Space for the Unbound, both published by Toge Productions.

Undusted: Letters from the Past will be released on Steam in the future. We don't know about Steam Deck compatibility yet, and it appears as though the game might not have controller support, at least not at launch, but the system requirements would be easy for the Steam Deck to handle.
