There's something about epic events to highlight upcoming games that gets me excited, and THQ Nordic has announced the date of their next digital Showcase. It is not far away either, so you won't have to wait too long. Mark your calendars for Friday, August 2, at 12:00 PM PDT / 3:00 PM EDT / 8:00 PM BST / 9:00 PM CEST, and be ready for some amazing announcements.

THQ Nordic Showcase

The showcase will be shared on their website, giving gamers worldwide a glance at their upcoming titles and some new content for THQ Nordic-published games. With so many games under the THQ Nordic umbrella, I expect this to be a big showcase. Some of the hottest games include long-awaited sequels like Titan Quest 2, or the Gothic remake will feature, and fan favorites in Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. Expect some brand-new announcements during the stream, too!

The two that intrigue me most are the Gothic remake and Titan Quest 2. While Piranha Bytes isn't involved with this Gothic remake, I'm interested in how the team at Alkimia Interactive handles it. Titan Quest 2 is being developed by Grimlore Games, a studio I know rather well. (Cool fact: I was on the dev team in 2019/2020 for the Spellforce 3 expansions!) I loved Titan Quest and can't wait to see how the sequel looks.

As the Steam Summer Sale is still on until July 11th, the entire THQ Nordic catalog is on sale. What are you most looking forward to in the showcase? What is your favorite THQ Nordic game? Let us know, and have a great day!
