A new update for The Precinct is finally here, which adds new content like a Tow Truck, as well as new customization and music to the sandbox.

UK games publisher Kwalee and independent game studio Fallen Tree Games announced the update for free on PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The Precinct

The Tow Truck and improved vehicle customization give a new experience to the players, allowing them to modify their vehicles and give them a unique look. Remove destroyed vehicles to lower the traffic on the road by summoning a tow truck. These vehicles will now be available in the City Impound and the Salvage Yard. If there is any link to those vehicles in any criminal case, then it will be sent to the Forensic Unit for investigation.

New shift assignment, like Tow Detail, is also included in the update as a change of pace. Heavy-duty industrial machinery, like a magnetic crane and a vehicle compactor, is also featured in the new salvage yard. Use the magnetic crane to lift abandoned vehicles and the vehicle compactor to convert them into a cube shape.

New lightbar configurations are introduced in this update, allowing you to customize your vehicle. Locate your favorite combinations to mix up with a uniform. Unmarked Patrol Vehicles are also included to allow officers to operate undercover for some time. However, you need to merge it with the plainclothes outfits.

Reflective Vest and Coveralls are two additional clothing options to support the new Tow Truck roleplay. Kelly gets a sharp plainclothes outfit and doesn’t need to be equipped manually.

The latest music track from Gavin Harrison, titled ‘Wrecker Blues’, has also been added in this new update.
