There were a ton of great new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games that got their badges over the last week. Elden Ring Nightreign got its Playable badge, which I would say it deserves, while KIBORG and Revenge of the Savage Planet got their green checkmarks.

Here are the 12 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazingly out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN (Playable) (SDHQ Review)

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a standalone adventure within the ELDEN RING universe, crafted to offer players a new gaming experience by reimagining the game’s core design.

The game is $39.99, but you can get it on Fanatical for $35.19. It is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to manually change graphical settings for optimal gameplay.

KIBORG (Verified)

KIBORG is a relentless rogue-lite beat’em up where you enhance your body with new cybernetic implants each run. You’ve been sent to the worst prison in the galaxy for crimes you didn’t commit. Death won’t provide an escape, but a violent reality show may offer a way out.

The game is $24.99 and rated Verified.

STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy (Playable/Verified)

Back to where it all started — the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Trilogy, one of the most visionary and groundbreaking survival first-person-shooters of all time returns. Now upscaled, enhanced must-play journey for a new generation.

The trilogy is $39.99 for all three games and are rated both Verified and Playable, which is due to small in-game text.

Sins of a Solar Empire 2 (Playable)

Battle for galactic dominance in this real-time 4X strategy game with unrivaled scale! You’ll explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate through military force, diplomacy, trade, culture, influence, and other underhanded tactics.

The game is $49.99 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, incorrect controller icons, and small in-game text.

DEATHWATCHERS (Playable)

Use the specialized equipment at your disposal to locate & log as many paranormal events as possible. Decipher the ingredients needed for your ritual and try to exorcise any demons within. Any incorrect ingredients and you may never leave! 1-4 Players

The game is on sale for $7.19 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard, small in-game text, and needing to set the display resolution manually.

Bloodshed (Verified)

Bloodshed is a Roguelite Survivors FPS; an exhilarating fusion of Roguelite elements merged with retro-styled visuals and first-person “Survivors-like” frenetic combat action!

The game is on sale for $5.84 and is rated Verified.

Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing (Verified)

Get ready for some brake jamm'in, CB talk'in, convoy roll'in action across America! From Portland Oregon to Miami Florida, you'll be hauling loads and trying to stay one step ahead of the law as you climb into your Big Rig for non-stop driving action.

The game is on sale for $4.49 and is rated Verified.

The Swapper (Verified)

What if someone knew your mind better than you did? The Swapper is an award-winning, narrative driven puzzle game set in the furthest reaches of space.

The game is on sale for $2.24 and is rated Verified.

Cook Serve Forever (Verified)

Bathe in the sights, sounds, and story of Cook Serve Forever, a narrative cooking game where you serve delicious recipes to the hungry masses of Helianthus.

The game is $29.99 and is rated Verified.

Kathy Rain 2: Soothsayer (Playable)

NIMRODS (Verified)
