There were a great amount of new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games this week with some wonderful games that I can personally recommend! Atomfall got its Verified badge before release, which it most definitely deserves, and Atomic Picnic got the Playable badge along with it. DOOM Eternal actually got downgraded to the Playable badge, but as far as I am aware, it should still be awesome on the go.

Here are the 10 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Atomfall (Verified)

A nuclear disaster has left an area of Britain in tatters. Atomfall, a new survival-action game, will see you explore, scavenge, craft, barter and fight your way through beautifully recreated scenery in search of answers.

The game can be pre-purchased for $49.99 ahead of its March 27th release and is rated Verified.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition (Playable)

From gliders and helicopters to wide-body jets, fly highly detailed and accurate aircraft in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary Edition. The world is at your fingertips.

The game is $59.99 and is rated Playable due to its launcher, needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, manually bringing up the virtual keyboard, needing to change graphical settings, and small in-game text.

RAID: World War II (Playable)

RAID: World War II is an action-packed four player cooperative shooter set during a time when the Nazi war machine was still winning, and hope was in short supply.

The game is $9.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.

Atomic Picnic (Playable)

Atomic Picnic is a Roguelike Shooter with Explosive Synergy! Dominate chaotic battles by cutting through swarms of monsters! Team up with friends or take them on solo! Unleash devastating combos by combining and evolving powerful upgrades to conquer The Zone.

The game is $19.99 and is rated Playable due to small in-game text and needing a community controller configuration.

I Am Legion: Stand Survivors (Verified)

Summon your stands and brawl it out! Dive into the thrill of mowing down enemies, synthesizing and upgrading, mining, forging gear, unlocking new characters and equipment. Discover unique stands combos and craft your own battle style to break through the chaos!

The game is $8.99 and is rated Verified.

Everhood 2 (Verified)

AN UNCONVENTIONAL ARPG where you battle enemies through musical encounters while being accompanied by a raven who promises to retrieve your voice if you slay the mighty Mind Dragon!

The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.

Odinfall (Verified)

Ragnarok was just the beginning… of the end! Odinfall is a Viking-themed, rogue-lite, twin-stick shooter. Blast your way through procedurally generated levels, upgrade your character, modify your weapons and take down robotic Norse gods to earn your freedom!

The game is $12.99 and is rated Verified.

DOOM Eternal (Playable) (Downgrade)

Hell’s armies have invaded Earth. Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity. The only thing they fear... is you.

The game is $39.99 and was downgraded to Playable due to incorrect controller icons and small in-game text.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (Playable)

Take back the city of Tertium from hordes of bloodthirsty foes in this intense and brutal action shooter. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is the new co-op-focused experience from the award-winning team behind the Vermintide series. As Tertium falls, Rejects Will Rise.

Grimoire Groves (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

The game is $19.99 and is rated Verified.
