There weren't a ton of new Steam Deck Verified and Playable games over the past week, but there are still some great highlights. REKA and Project Warlock 2 got the green checkmarks, while Ctrl Alt Ego and River City Girls Zero got the Playable badges.

Ctrl Alt Ego (Playable)

Innovative genre mashup (first-person immersive sim puzzler FPS RPG) with emphasis on problem-solving and creativity. Unique vibes and original mechanics that you won't have experienced before. One of the best games of 2022 according to various credible sources!

The game is on sale for $7.99 until January 5th and is rated Playable due to small in-game text.

Project Warlock 2 (Verified)

Adrenaline-pumping gore retro funhouse that’s full of guns, magic, demons, vertical arenas, 3D visuals, 2D sprites, and heavy metal music. Inspired by FPS classics like Quake and Doom 64, Project Warlock II is the explosive boomer shooter sequel you were too shy to ask for.

The game is on sale for $11.04 until January 5th and is rated Verified.

Tiny Bookshop (Verified)

Leave everything behind and open a tiny bookshop by the sea in this cozy narrative management game. Stock your tiny bookshop with different books and items, set up shop in scenic locations, and run your cozy second-hand bookshop while getting to know the locals.

Neon Inferno (Verified)

River City Girls Zero (Playable)

Join Kunio, Riki, Misako, and Kyoko for bone-crunching, 16-bit, co-op beat-'em-up action - newly translated and released outside of Japan after 28 years! The original 1994 graphics, soundtrack, and gameplay are augmented with new motion-comic cutscenes, a new animated intro, and new music!

The game is $14.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons.

The Pedestrian (Verified)
