Steam Deck Client Beta

A new update for the Steam Deck Beta Client has been released with some fixes and added features. There's a new notification when a trade is reversed from Trade Protection, we have support for their PDP REALMz controller for the Switch, and an issue with deleting screenshots, game text entry, and editing commands has all been fixed.

You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.

General

  • Added a notification for when a trade is reversed via Trade Protection
  • Fixed an issue with deleting screenshots from the focused screenshot view briefly showing an error and potentially navigating the user away from their screenshots
  • Fixed the Game Text Entry screen staying up if you exit the game via the overlay while it is being displayed

Steam Input

  • Added support for the PDP REALMz Wireless Controller for Switch
  • Fixed an issue where editing commands on an input bound to a modeshift could duplicate bindings
