Epic is giving away a free game every single day for the holidays, and today, we have a classic-style game to add to our libraries. For today, we can redeem SKALD: Against the Black Priory for free on Epic, and it's a solid experience to enjoy on Deck.

SKALD is a retro-styled RPG where you and your party will embark on a journey filled with Lovecraftian horrors, branching storylines, and tactical turn-based combat. All of this is wrapped in classic 8-bit visuals, and it's a very fun game to play.

And it's wonderful on the Steam Deck. It's rated Verified on the Steam Deck, runs like a charm, and has full controller support, which is not something I usually expect for games like this. Still, it's a great game for portable play, and one I highly recommend.
