There are simulators for so many different jobs now, but I didn't expect to see one for taking care of a Plant Nursery. That's where Plant Nursery Simulator comes in. You will run your own nursery, growing crops, expanding your greenhouses, and selling to customers. It seems like a nice mix of shop management and farming, and it just got a lot better to play on the Steam Deck.

The 0.4.0 patch that just released includes partial controller support, which starts making the game much more playable with a gamepad. This makes the general gameplay controls accessible with a controller, and input prompts will automatically switch to the active device, but menus and UI will still need a mouse or trackpad to access. There's still some work to be done for sure, but it's on the right path, and with the developer specifically mentioning this is good for the Steam Deck, I have high hopes for the future.

Along with the controller support, we also have some new features. There's a new Storage Rack, more shopping cart upgrades like a higher max cart and the cart icon now displaying the total quantity, furniture now gives a refund when thrown out, the store lighting is now brighter, there are four new trinkets, and there's a new yellow plaster wall available to purchase.

You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Plant Nursery Simulator is available for $12.99 and is rated Playable due to needing a community controller configuration, showing incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, and needing to manually bring up the virtual keyboard.
