There's no doubt this is an absolute beast of a handheld, sporting very similar specs to the GPD WIN 5, and like the GPD WIN 5, the ONEXFLY Apex will feature an external battery that can clip onto the back of the device. Unlike the GPD WIN 5, however, you can take advantage of optional external liquid cooling to boost the TDP of the device from 80W up to 120W, giving you that extra boost in performance.

The ONEXFLY Apex also features 2 customizable back buttons placed on the grips of the handheld, a first for the company.

We got a brief glimpse at how the AI Max+ 395 model will handle games. With some figures mentioned by OneXPlayer on how the device performs:

  • Forza Horizon 5 @ High Settings (80W TDP, Air Cooled) - 141 FPS

Another thing teased by OneXPlayer is the addition of a new button on the front of the device, which will seamlessly integrate with the Xbox app on Windows and allow you to switch between the standard Windows desktop and the Xbox app, which is easier to navigate with a gamepad.
