Noobs Are Coming is a very interesting take on arena roguelikes. Instead of being the hero, you are the final boss and have to fight against a bunch of incoming noobs. You'll equip patterns and combine different attacks to create intriguing builds to survive. I love how it looks, and with the newest update, it's going to be a lot better to play on the Steam Deck.

Noobs Are Coming

The new update is pretty big and packs a lot of changes, with a couple of them specific to the Steam Deck. The tooltip in the startup menu has a bigger font size, while gamepad support should be working again, no matter what configuration for your Steam Deck is. This means whenever the game is docked and using an external controller, it should work without issue.

Other than those changes, the update also adds a new attack and a new achievement. The options menu has also been reworked, we have two new co-op options, three new accessibility sliders, a new audio option, a new subtle arrow at the beginning of each effect for playable character tooltips, and improved sound effects for when a chest is picked up and when a player is hit.

There are a bunch more enhancements, and you can check them all out in the changelog from their Steam Community Post.
