A new version of the third-party launcher installation script NonSteamLaunchers has been released, and you can set up some new types of games! The new update allows you to install non-Steam shortcuts to both Pokemon Trading Card Game Live and PokeRogue. However, it seems that only PokeRogue is working, which takes you to the website in full-screen mode to play the fan-made roguelike Pokemon game, and it does have controller support.

The new update also adds some custom community controller layouts for some non-Steam games. The changelog doesn't note which games also utilize this, but it's still intriguing to see some layouts included for games that aren't on Steam.

For those who may not know, NonSteamLaunchers is a script that was created for the Steam Deck to easily install third-party launchers, like Epic Games Store and itch.io, as well as set up some website streaming options with gamepad support like GeForce NOW, Xbox Game Pass, Disney+, Netflix, and more. It's very simple to install and use as well. You can download it from GitHub and make sure to download the NonSteamLaunchers.desktop in Desktop Mode. You can also follow our guide if you run into any issues.

If you already have NonSteamLaunchers downloaded on your Steam Deck, just run it, and it will auto-update to the newest version.
