The Anbernic RG DS is officially here to pre-order, and it's quite exciting to see. While it isn't as powerful as many of us had hoped, it still offers a pretty cheap price for a great machine for DS emulation, and it comes with a stylus as well. It looks awesome from the renders, but I am someone who wants to see some real photos of the device, and I got my wish.

Most of the photos we have seen of the RG DS are digital renders, and apart from a couple of videos, we haven't seen many real-world photos of the device. However, over on the Anbernic Discord server, some new pictures have been shared showing off all three colorways of the device. Posted by Wild Lee, an admin of the server, we can see the three colors at different angles, showing different windows in the Android OS, as well as one in a graphical frontend looking at DS games.

While it looks as expected, it's still wonderful to see. It still gives me DS vibes, no matter how I look at it, feeling almost identical in some aspects. I would say my favorite is the white or red and black color personally. I like the button placement as well, though the triggers make me feel a little uneasy with my fat fingers.

The Anbernic RG DS can be pre-ordered now on the Anbernic website, and they are on sale for $93.99 until launch. All products will be shipped before December 15th.

The Anbernic links above are using an affiliate link, which gives us a little back from sales at no extra charge to you. All proceeds go back into SDHQ and its development.
