Of all the relaxing games that are available to play on the Steam Deck, it’s hard not to love Gourdlets. The adorable city-builder won our hearts and quickly became one of our favorite portable experiences, which we detailed more in our review for the game. And it seems developer AuntyGames wants to make sure it’s a great experience, which is why there is a nice improvement in the game’s latest update.

In their newest patch, there is a large focus on bug fixes and visual changes. For those who are playing on a Steam Deck, the biggest one that affects us will be the increased font sizes. This means text in-game should be easier to read and more legible on the smaller screen, and that is always quite nice to have. There’s also a little line edit bug that appeared, but that is fixed now.

The rest of the update is quite minor but still fixes some nice inconveniences. The large dollhouse artwork has been, along with some typewriter animations and house rotation directions. We also have some fixed Chinese and German localizations, as well as the Twitch handle fix, that would sometimes cause the menu to cycle.

You can check out the full changelog via their Steam Community Post.
