Capcom Spotlight

Capcom announced last week a Spotlight event that went live today, June 26, at 3 PM PT and featured upcoming games and a new update for Monster Hunter Wilds. Capcom Spotlight is a digital event highlighting the latest Capcom news. According to Capcom’s recent announcement for the show featured four titles: Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6, and Monster Hunter Wilds. However, there can be more announcements from the Publisher, and the showcase is around 40 minutes long.

Pragmata Gameplay and Combat

The Capcom Spotlight event started with the highly anticipated title Pragmata, which was announced earlier during Summer Games Fest 2025. Devs did a deep dive into story and gameplay for Pragmata, showcasing some combat and how you use the abilities of Diana, who's an android. You take the role of Hugh Williams a lunar investigator, and explore a world filled with dangerous robots. Pragmata presentation featured hacking mechanics from the game, giving details on how to use hacking with the help of Diana to your advantage, and shooting your way through this action adventure set in a lunar research facility.

Pragmata will launch in 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.

Street Fighter 6 – Sagat comes August 5

Giving an update on Street Fighter 6 Year 3 post-launch content, Sagat is coming to join the fight on August 5, 2025. Classic Street Fighter character back with his iconic eye-patch and fist attacks, and Capcom revealed the first look at the upcoming character.

Moreover, some details on Fight Pass for Street Fighter 6 were revealed, and it will include more cosmetics than before and exclusive cosmetics for Sagat. And finally Street Fighter esports event called Capcom Pro Tour 2025, a singles tournament and will feature a prize pool of over 2 million USD.

Kunitsu-Gami Path of Goddess  - Available on Nintendo Switch 2

Kunitsu-Gami Path of Goddess is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 and includes some new features. Including a special feature to use Switch 2’s Joy-Con Mouse mode to play the game in a new way.

Resident Evil Requiem Details

The Capcom Spotlight show gave a highlight on Resident Evil Requiem’s new protagonist, FBI Agent Grace Ashcroft, core gameplay, Raccoon City, and why Leon S. Kennedy was not the protagonist.

Going in-depth on Grace Ashcroft, devs explained why fear is the core mechanic of the upcoming Resident Evil 9 and how Grace makes it more unique. With her story and fear, she uncovers the puzzles and horrors of Raccoon City. Devs also confirmed the gameplay to be playable in both first and third-person perspectives. As Leon is a trained professional fighting the zombie apocalypse, Director Koshi Nakanishi explained, "He wouldn't jump at something like a bucket falling. No one wants to see Leon scared by every little thing. So he's actually quite a bad match for horror."

Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase

Capcom Spotlight event included a special Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase with the game’s director. A new title update is coming soon and will include new DLC content including some dance gestures and Cosmetic DLC Pack 2 which will be a paid DLC. New seasonal event is coming this summer called Festival of Accord: Flamefete, and will include limited-time rewards. Festival of Accord: Flamefete will start on July 23.

More details about the Monster Hunter Wilds Roadmap were shared during the showcase, which will include free Title Update 2 releasing on June 30, 2025. Two new monsters, Lagiacrus and Seregios, will be added with this update. And a limited-time event quest will come at a later date called Fender Special Collaboration. Updating more about Monster Hunter Wilds Roadmap, the director revealed that Title Update 3 will release in September and will include a new Seasonal Event and additional monsters.
