One of my favorite ways to customize my Steam Deck is to easily boot videos. Turning on the Deck to a custom video makes the device feel more personal, and I love it. While there are amazing custom boot videos to get from Steam Deck Repo, Valve offers a good chunk of them on the Steam Points Shop, with a bulk being created by developers of different games. Recently, there has been an onslaught of new boot videos on the store, and today, I noticed some new videos that I think are worth checking out.

Kill Knight Steam Deck Boot Video

Three different games, dotAGE, Kill Knight, and #Drive Rally, had new boot videos posted, and I am a fan of most of them:

I love the dotAGE and Kill Knight videos. They both feel unique and have great transitions to the Deck logo. The #Drive Rally ones are decent, but I still feel like the other two are a step above the rest. There are some boot videos here that just aren't great, like Lone Wolf or The Last of Us, but there are some that truly shine, like Dead Cells or Hades 2. I feel dotAGE and Kill Knight fall in the better category, though I will never say no to more options!

You can get the startup movie on the Steam Point Store, and it will cost 3,000 points. You get 1 point for every 1 cent you spend, so you will get the 3,000 points required if you spend $30 on the Steam store. Once purchased, you can change the startup movie in the Customization tab in your settings.
