The Steam Deck is a very versatile machine that has a fantastic balance of power and battery, yet some people want to see just how versatile the handheld can be. Some have upgraded internal parts, some have replaced their shells with something more color, and one lucky individual has even turned their Deck into a brick that can play games. Now, you can attach your Steam Deck to your belly or anywhere on your body thanks to a new product: The GoPro Mount.

Created by Mechanism, the creator of DeckMate, this GoPro Mount is a special mount that lets the Steam Deck stick to any compatible GoPro accessory. This means you can use the Deck in different ways to make it more comfortable to enjoy. You can attach it to the wall while you are on the toilet, put it on a stand to use as a desktop PC, and even attach it to your belly while lying down to free up the weight that would be put on your hands.

Hell, you can even attach all of them to your entire body. Is this something you should actually do? No. But it's a proof of concept that will allow anyone to get as close to being a Steam Deck as possible.

It looks quite easy to use as well, as long as you have GoPro accessories to utilize. The mount is attached to the DeckMate grip, which is sold separately and then can be attached directly to any GoPro accessory. However, some accessories aren't equipped to handle the weight of the Steam Deck, and the mount is designed for static loads. Other than that, you should be free to use it as you please. Just be careful, and don't expect every accessory will work out of the box.

You can buy the mount on Mechanism's website for $9, but you will need to get a DeckMate grip along with it if you don't have one, which costs $19. Still, the benefits are clear. Being able to attach it to the wall or use it as a Desktop is awesome, but the belly will alleviate stress from the weight when lying down to play. It will make those relaxing sessions on the go so much better.
