Expanding our library of games to play on the Steam Deck is one of our greatest joys, even if we don't get to all of them. Unfortunately, doing this does cost money. Luckily, there are a bunch of free games you can get to play on the Steam Deck, and we do have a weekly article going over them, but there are always some games that become free later on, which is the case right now for both Breathedge and Dark Sector!

Dark Sector Free on Steam

As of right now, both of these games are free to keep on Steam, though one of them does require an extra step. Dark Sector is the easy one. All you have to do is go to the Steam store page and add the game to your account. As long as you do this before November 30th at 9am PT, you will keep the game forever.

Breathedge does need a small extra step. The game is being given away on Fanatical, so you will have to make an account, sign up for their newsletter, and link your Steam account. Once that's done, you will get the game completely free. This is a solid investment, too, since Fanatical does give away more games in this same fashion, so you would be set to claim future titles as well. The game will be available for the next four days before the giveaway ends.

While Breathedge is rated Playable while Dark Sector is Unknown, both games can and do work on the Steam Deck! The latter may need a little tinkering to make sure it's working correctly, but it is playable and enjoyable! Just make sure to claim these both as soon as possible to make sure you get your copy.
