As fans of the Steam Deck, we are always watching and looking at other awesome creators in this space. Some are just random community members who make wonderful contraptions like the MicroSD Credit Card Holder, while others can go over and above to create game-changing software to increase performance for games that have no business running so well. On the latter side, one of the most well-known names in this space is Cryobyte33.

Cryobyte33 is a YouTuber and creator of the famous CryoUtilities, a set of tools that are aimed to increase performance for games that are hampered by memory issues. On top of this, he also does deep dives into these heavy games, exploring what holds them back and how to fix it, with multiple different setting presets you can use yourself. He is an incredible part of the Steam Deck community and makes extraordinarily amazing content, so we are pleased to announce our partnership with him!

An overview of CryoUtilities and what it does.

So what is this partnership you ask? Well, it's very similar to the one Digital Foundry shares with Eurogamer. Cryobyte33's home is on YouTube, that's where he posts his videos and primarily creates his content, but there is little official representation for his work outside of YouTube. So, we have partnered with him to essentially be his 2nd home away from YouTube. His videos and work will be officially transcribed by him, with some formatting help from myself, and posted on SteamDeckHQ. Of course, all of his videos will be embedded into his articles here, but they will also be written out, packed with screenshots and more!

We are super excited to announce this and work more closely with Cryobyte33. Personally, I have talked with him at length about all subjects and feel confident that he is not only an awesome person, but embodies the same moral/ethical standards we adhere to at SDHQ.

With that in mind...look out for his first post on here very soon! I have a feeling like it will be like a fantasy come true.
