Ancient Kingdoms looks like a really intriguing open-world game. It is designed to invoke the nostalgia of classic 2D RPGs with six different classes to choose from and tons of quests, secrets, and lore to find. It's also fully co-op, which I love, and the last couple of updates have made the game much nicer to play on the Steam Deck.

A majority of the updates were focused on changes to the resolution to accommodate the Steam Deck's screen. And in the 0.6.19.4 update, the canvas resolution for the Deck was updated to make sure the pixel art is as crisp as possible. The latest hotfix also increases the performance of the game overall by around 15-20%. It shouldn't be much trouble to run on the Steam Deck already, but it's nice to see increased performance regardless.
That 0.6.19.4 update also includes some other enhancements and fixes. The speech bubble background color has been updated for better readability, item levels have been increased, Manaburn and Enthrall spells have been adjusted, and Snow Giant Guards now protect the entrance to Winterforge to provide a new challenge to get in.
You can view the changelog for the 0.6.19.4 update via their Steam Community Post.

Ancient Kingdoms is available on Steam for $15.99.
