4 years ago, the Steam Deck hit the market and has shown how great handheld PC gaming can be. To facilitate that and show which games are solid to play on the go, Valve created the Steam Deck Verified system. This showed which games were a "great experience" on the Deck, giving players more confidence to choose games they may purchase for portable play. And today, we now have reached over 30,000 games that have the Verified or Playable badge!
Over on SteamDB, we can see that there are now 30,006 games (as of writing) that now have the badges. 21,067 of those are Verified, while 8,939 are Playable.

This is a huge achievement, and it makes me so happy to see. With recent games like BIOMUTANT, Returnal, and Order of the Sinking Star getting their ratings, it doesn't seem that the ratings are slowing down.
There are still some issues with the system that Valve will need to fix. Some games that have the green checkmark are not actually "great experiences", and we have seen that recently with Halo: Campaign Evolved and Crimson Desert (which went back to Unsupported a few days later). I hope they do fix the system, because it's great to have something like this in general.
