There are a bunch of games that I really enjoy playing, but some of my favorites to relax with are management simulators. Add in some ways to spice it up with combat, and it’s a must-play in my book. While there are many games that do this, the one that got me so into other titles like this is Moonlighter. Recently, the second game in the series, Moonlighter 2 was released into early access, and today, to celebrate its official 1.0 release date announcement, the first game in the series is completely free to redeem and add to our libraries.

Moonlighter

From now until August 9, we can add Moonlighter to our Steam libraries. This is to celebrate the announcement for the sequel getting a launch date for 1.0, and I am not complaining. The original game is what launched the franchise, and while I do, enjoy the new perspective in the sequel, the original still holds up wonderfully.

On top of that, Moonlighter is rated Steam Deck Verified, and it deserves it. The game is awesome to play on the Deck, running perfectly and looking fantastic things to the 2D sprites. For a game that’s completely free to add your Steam library, we couldn’t have chosen a better one to take on the go.

Moonlighter is free to add to your steam library until August 9th, so make sure to add it to your library before then.
