Electronic Arts is bringing some major changes to FUT, along with some new additions in EA Sports FC 26, offering a new experience. Live Events provide new features and mechanics, as they’re a bigger pillar of the competitive structure for FUT. Accessing these Live Events requires some prerequisites. Players can access the Live Events by completing a specific Objective or Objective Group, reaching a Rivals Division, Rarity, Club, League, or Nation count, Player Quality, Chemistry, or Position rules.

Custom Rules and Match Settings are featured in Live Events, including House Rules (Classic Match, Max Chemistry, First to X Goals, Mystery Ball, No Rules, Long Range, Swaps, and Survival), Match Limits, Solo only, Co-Op Only, or open matchmaking.

You can gain direct access to claim what you’ve earned without digging through the Objective menus via Events. The game allows you to spend less time navigating menus and more time on the pitch.

EA Sports FC 26 and FC Pro allow for the registration for FC Pro competitions directly from within Football Ultimate Team and complete and climb regional leaderboards based on your peak ELO.

EA has also shared a FUT Deep Dive trailer showcasing changes coming to FUT in EA Sports FC 26.

Revamping of Rivals is also being done, but additional details have not been shared yet. You need to play more matches in Football Ultimate Team to appear on the leaderboard. Maintaining a winning streak takes you to a higher division, but losing it can dethrone you from the higher rank.

Playoffs are now removed in FC 26, making them no longer part of Champions. Get to the specific Rivals Division and earn Champions Qualification Points to qualify for the Championships.

The Competitive Gameplay is established around three core pillars: responsiveness, consistency, and higher player control. Adjust the stamina of the player, allowing the player to defend and stay agile for a longer period. One-touch passing and shooting are now more responsive, making it more triggerable.
