Maze Mice, a new bullet heaven roguelite, launches in Early Access on May 2, 2025. You collect dots, get level ups and buy upgrades, and most importantly, stay away from the cats.

Maze Mice has just gotten an early access release today on PC via Steam. The game is developed by TrampolineTales, the creator of the smash hit Luck be a Landlord.

Players can navigate through a perilous attic as a plucky pipsqueak to avoid wild felines in this time-freezing and mazerunning bullet heaven roguelite. Doing anything in the game causes time to move, so make a strategy to sneak around the resting cats. One wrong decision allows the cats to wake up and makes them furious. A launch trailer for Maze Mice Early Access was also shared by the team, showcasing some gameplay.

Earn XP to gain offensive upgrades, health buffs, and other improvements. You can deal constant damage, blaze a path with the Flame Trail, slather Syrup on foes to slow them down, or gnaw on a Sugar Cube for a sweet speed boost when you sic Fleas on foes. While exploring each area, you can merge the upgrades to gain several combinations.

Enjoy the retro pixel aesthetic with a groovy soundtrack from the same composer as Luck Be a Landlord.

Players can play the Maze Mice on PC via Steam Early Access. The game supports several different languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and more.
