The Steam Controller has been the most enticing upcoming Valve product that I have been excited for. The controller looks amazing, comes with great features, fantastic hardware like TMR joysticks, and has a similar layout to the Steam Deck. There has been a lot of speculation as to when it will come and the price, and today, we have official confirmation on both, with the Steam Controller officially launching in 1 week.

Specifically, the Steam Controller will launch on May 4th at 10am PT. It will be going live directly on Steam and will be priced at $99 USD, and it can be wishlisted right now. The controller looks incredible, with 35+ hours of battery life on a single charge, high definition rumble, those beautiful trackpads, and full customizability with Steam Input.
I wouldn't be surprised if Steam has some issues loading pages due to traffic on May 4th, so I recommend putting the $99 needed in your Steam Wallet to make purchasing easier and quicker. I know that's what I will be doing, and I can't wait to try it out for myself!
