If you are a fan of Devolver Digital and the crazy games under their wing like me, you will enjoy today’s news! The Plucky Squire will launch on September 17th, and developers at All Possible Futures released the gameplay trailer for their game on Youtube.
The Plucky Squire is an intriguing take on the turn-based RPG genre with a mix of 2D and 3D gameplay that looks fantastic. While the overworld is in 2D, the complex battle scenarios take place in worlds that remind me of games like Little Big Planet and Super Mario Odyssey. It is not just combat of course. The hero Jot is capable of many things, and his merry band of adventurers must venture on a quest through a storybook of diverse worlds, with platforming and puzzles galore.
The Plucky Squire can be wishlisted on Steam right now. The release date is not far away, so if you are interested, you do not have long to wait. What do you think of the gameplay trailer? Let us know in the comments and have a great day!

I’m waiting this game to release for some time now, gameplay looks awesome. It’s too bad they haven’t said anything about system requirements or the Steam Deck, but seeing it will be released on the Switch as well makes me positive the Deck can handle it just fine!
Yeah, the style of the game and the fact it's on the Switch should be a good indicator that it'll run on the Steam Deck, but it is interesting that the game has no system requirements revealed when it's less than a week away from release.
