While it was expected to a degree, following the trend of PlayStation games coming out on Steam, it is always nice to have a bit of confirmation! Neil Druckmann, the co-president of Naughty Dog, has confirmed in a tweet that The Last of Us Part 1 will have Steam Deck support.

This is by no means a confirmation of how well it will run, but it is encouraging to see mention of it working and running on the Steam Deck. Based on the PlayStation catalogue and how well they have been supporting PC and the Deck, I have full faith the game will be playable comfortably.

The Last of Us Part 1 will be releasing on Steam on March 3rd, 2023.
