This last week saw many awesome new and old games get that Steam Deck Verified/Playable badge and it is awesome! We have the upcoming Dragon Age: The Veilguard getting it extremely early, even before minimum specs or release date is revealed, as well as upcoming games like Star Wars: Bounty Hunter and Cat Quest 3, all of which are Verified!

Here are the 10 highlights we found:

Verified or Playable games don't automatically mean they work amazing out of the box. Some of these games may require work to optimize and play well. Here are our thoughts on the system and how it can be fixed.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard (Verified)

The game can be wishlisted on Steam and doesn't have a confirmed release date yet. It is rated Verified.

No Rest for the Wicked (Verified)

From Moon Studios, the award-winning developers of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps comes No Rest for the Wicked, a visceral, precision Action RPG set to reinvent the genre.

The game is on sale for $31.99 until August 8th and is rated Verified. The game does have some microstutters and may crash depending on your settings.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (Verified)

In this classic third-person action-adventure, you'll become Jango Fett, Prime Clone of the Grand Army of the Republic, hired to capture a deranged Dark Jedi. Experience the legendary Bounty Hunter fantasy set before the events of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. Face off against foes and maneuver through acrobatic battles in this adaption optimized for today's consoles and hardware.

The game can be pre-ordered for $17.99 ahead of its August 1st release and is rated Verified.

Kingsgrave (Verified)

Welcome to Kingsgrave, a dark fantasy adventure RPG. Gain more power and obtain new combat skills as you explore the fractured land, slay foes created by plague, solve puzzles and rebuild villages. Reclaim your realm!

The game is on sale for $6.49 until August 5th and is rated Verified.

Thronefall (Verified)

A minimalist game about building and defending your little kingdom. With Thronefall we tried to strip a classic strategy game from all unnecessary complexity, combining it with some healthy hack and slay. Build up your base during the day, defend it til your last breath at night.

The game is $9.99 and rated Verified.

Shift 87 (Verified)

Your task today: Memorize your environment and report any anomalies. Good luck with your shift! "Shift 87" is an observation horror game with subtle anomalies and unsettling occurrences.

Athena Crisis (Verified)

Athena Crisis is a modern retro turn-based strategy game that places you in command of 40+ units in your journey across the multiverse. Embark on a challenging single-player quest or dive into the thrill of ranked or casual multiplayer modes to become the best Athena Crisis player!

The game is $19.99 and rated Verified.

Cat Quest 3 (Verified)

In Cat Quest III you play as a purrivateer in a freely explorable 2.5D open-world swarming with Pi-rats. You can sail the seas in your ship for treasures galore! But prepare for peril, as the Pirate King aims to hunt you down...

The game can be preordered for $17.99 ahead of its August 8th released date and is rated Verified.

Gestalt: Steam and Cinder (Verified) (SDHQ Review)

Inspired by 16 and 32-bit classics, Gestalt: Steam & Cinder fuses tight 2D platforming and exhilarating combat with an engrossing, twist-laden narrative in a stunningly handcrafted steampunk world.

the game is $19.99 and rated Verified.

Frogun Encore (Playable)

Frogun ENCORE is a dashing standalone expansion/sequel to indie hit FROGUN! Join now older Renata and Jake in a trek around the whole world to prevent the return of Beelzebub. ENCORE builds on FROGUN's retro PS1/N64 formula. Plus, enjoy the whole adventure in true couch co-op.

The game is $12.99 and rated Playable due to small in-game text and showing incorrect controller icons.
