Victura has released the new "Command and Control" update for Six Days in Fallujah, adding the first documentary story missions, an advanced AI system, and improved graphics. The update is now available on Steam for all players. Keep reading for more details!
New Story Missions
Two single-player story missions in the Command and Control update mark the first instance the game presents its documentary narrative. These missions capture events including early ISIS emergence from the Second Battle of Fallujah. For single players, they also act as guides in the use of the new Fireteam AI system to lead three NPC colleagues using reasonable military tactics.
Advanced AI and Solo Mode
The advanced Fireteam AI included in this update lets solo players command NPC squads using military maneuvers including Fire and Maneuver, Ambushes, and Breaching. As straightforward as firing a weapon, the "Go! Command" streamlines issuing commands. During online cooperative play, the artificial intelligence teammates can also cover for absent players, making sure you always have a full squad even when Billy is at his grannies! Damn you Billy, always letting the side down!
Enhanced Graphics and New Content
Using NVIDIA's RTX Global Illumination, the update offers a graphic makeover that improves lighting and effects all around the game. Apart from the aesthetic enhancements, a fresh procedural mission, "HLZ Wolf," has been added. Players can complete this mission alone, in 4-player co-op mode, or with AI allies. More than three hundred technical improvements have been made to raise general controls, enemy artificial intelligence, and game performance.
Procedural Missions and Co-op Play
Six Days in Fallujah guarantees that missions vary every time they are performed thanks to a unique Procedural Architecture system. This unpredictability reflects the uncertainty Marines experienced during the real fighting. Through its Wargame mode, the game also supports online cooperative play for up to four players, providing a range of bespoke challenges.
Available on Steam for $39.99, Six Days in Fallujah has a limited-time discount price of $29.99 up until November 17th, 2024, in honor of the Command and Control update.
