Good news for those in the US and Canada wanting to preorder the Nintendo Switch 2 finally! After all the confusion and concerns over the ongoing tariffs, Nintendo postponing the preorders in the United States and Canada was something nobody knew how it would turn out. Fortunately, from April 24 onwards, you will be able to preorder the Switch 2 ahead of its official launch in June.

Detailed in their announcement on their website, Nintendo has assured US customers that the current price of the Nintendo Switch 2 and the bundle with Mario Kart World remains unchanged at $449.99/499.99 respectively. The same goes for Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza. While this is a big relief, the accessories have been adjusted to account for changes in market condition, with current increases around 5-10$ higher on average.
Other adjustments to the price of any Nintendo product aren’t off the table, and Nintendo will likely change them as the situation develops. Despite the constantly changing situation, this announcement will be good news for those who want in on the new Nintendo Switch. Here is where people can pre-order:

So I guess keeping the switch stuff off the steam deck rss feed wasn't a thing after all
Ah well, there are plenty of generic websites in the sea. Shame that there is one fewer site actually focused on Linux gaming and the steam deck.
It's something we are looking into, but also our focus has not changed. In the last 2 weeks, there were two Nintendo Switch articles and 116 PC/Steam Deck articles, along with 9 Steam Deck game reviews and 0 Nintendo game reviews.
I understand the desire to keep it separated, and we are working on it, but to say our focus has changed is inaccurate. It has been, and always will be, PC/Steam Deck first.
Thank goodness. I hope they back off and don't put any more tariffs so that we can still have the same prices for all the Switch 2 stuff(or preferably lower lol).
