Steam Deck Client Beta

A small Steam Deck Beta Client update was pushed out that adds a new feature to toggle and adds support for a new controller. The Razer Raiju V3 Pro controller is now fully supported, while the Steam client hang caused by the Nacon PS4 Compact Controller is now fixed. We also have the ability to toggle whether group chat members who you aren't friends with being able to message you or not.

You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.

General

  • Fixed Steam client hang when a Nacon PS4 Compact Controller is connected.

Friends & Chat

  • You can now toggle the ability for group chat members that you are not friends with to direct message you in the 'Permissions' section of each group chat's settings.

Steam Input

  • Added support for the Razer Raiju V3 Pro.
