I love futuristic sci-fi settings in video games so much, and Memory's Reach is one of my favorites to look at. The upcoming first-person metroidvania looks incredible and hits all the right notes for me, and I like how the puzzles look. I was curious if the Steam Deck will be supported for this game, and before I had a chance to ask them, they had already answered!

A new patch was released for their pre-alpha demo, which is available now, and it includes Steam Deck support! This includes customized default settings and a larger UI, all configured for an optimized 40 FPS. The fact that they went this far is great, and the fact that it lays the groundwork for a more substantial update coming soon is wonderful. If we needed any confirmation that the game will be playable on the Steam Deck when it releases, I would say this is it.
To go along with this, developer 100 Stones Interactive added new graphical settings to allow us to customize the experience more for ourselves. This includes UI scaling, in case you want to lower it, and newly added FSR upscaling. I do hope this will include XeSS upscaling as well, since I have been enjoying it more in most instances, but the fact that this is included at all is great.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Memory's Reach can be wishlisted ahead of its release, and you can try the demo out right now.
