Microids, the publisher behind critically acclaimed titles such as Syberia and Blacksad: Under the Skin, has just announced a partnership with indie developer Anomalie Studio to publish their debut game, Melobot - A Last Song. A new rhythm/action-adventure game that's set to launch on Steam on September 12th, 2024.

Melobot - A Last Song puts players in the role of a musical robot named Melobot who is determined to use music as a means to heal a devastated world. Playing as a rhythm-based adventurer, players must learn to play a wide range of musical instruments, discover new worlds and their ecosystems, and save a planet that is about to die. Players must navigate a breathtaking sci-fi world influenced by the enchanted artistry of Studio Ghibli and Pixar as they face off against mysterious mechanical enemies and engage in musical duels.

Melobot - A Last Song has a unique combination of gameplay elements that fans of rhythm games and those who are new to the genre will enjoy. The game has been designed for both controllers and keyboards and allows you to do combat with the powerful Guardians that stand in your way regardless of your control method.

You can discover new areas, solve puzzles, and rescue the planet from an unknown disease by listening to and replicating the melodies of the Meloplants, the unique plants of the game's world.

Melobot - A Last Song will be available on Steam starting September 12th, 2024, for €/$24.99. For additional information, go ahead and visit the Steam page.
