If you were watching The Game Awards way back in December 2023, you'll have noticed a game by the name of King of Meat shown, where players compete against crazy dungeons made by even crazier people (the King of Meat community). If you are interested in the game, you'll be pleased to know that a closed alpha will be running on PC and Xbox from December 4th to December 14th, and you can sign up right here. Do note that the closed alpha is behind an NDA, so you won't be able to talk about your experience with the game or share any gameplay, etc.
The Closed Alpha will have access to both playing and creating dungeons, so you should get a fairly good overview of how the game plays. You'll also be asked to give feedback on what you thought of the game so that the developers can take it on board and improve the game experience.
The developers also provided a handy FAQ about the Closed Alpha, we've picked out some key questions below, as well as the game's system requirements.

Minimum System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Ryzen 3 1200 or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 1060 5GB / RX470 4GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 11 GB available space
Recommended System Requirements:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
The system requirements are a bit on the nose for a Steam Deck, so it's hit-or-miss as to whether the game will be playable or not, but I'm more leaning on the side that it will be playable, barring any Anti-Cheat solutions that may creep in, seeing as this is an online-only title.
If you do want to learn more about King of Meat in the run-up to the closed alpha, a video series began today which will give players an idea of what they can expect from the game. Here's the first episode:
