Jupiter Hell has always been one of my favorite roguelikes, and I love that developer ChaosForge went out of their way to create a full-on demake. Jupiter Hell Classic is essentially bringing back the original DoomRL after 11 years and continuing development, bringing back the classic turn-based roguelike, spanning four episodes, environmental destruction, and Steam Workshop support. It's great, and it just got a new hotfix that fixes some issues on the Steam Deck.

The game got a small hotfix yesterday, which fixes some problems that cause crashes on the Steam Deck. There were problems when dying that caused crashes, which have been attributed to a misallocated name entry. There were also some controller fixes for when it wouldn't work when picking a core module. There isn't much else to the hotfix, and there was another small one posted after for some other small fixes. The game was released on Steam two days ago, so having any fixes quickly is much appreciated.
You can check out the full changelog for the update via their Steam Community Post.

Jupiter Hell Classic is on sale for $12.74 until August 27th.
