Not too long ago, Horizon Zero Dawn had its remaster released, which touched upon and improved the visuals and animations throughout the entire game. Even if the original didn't need much of a touchup, it still looks phenomenal. In the game's newest update, there is a nice fix that impacts playing on the Steam Deck, or really using any controller that might utilize Steam Input.

The 1.1 patch brings with it a nice couple of fixes here and there, but the one that will impact Steam Deck users the most is the improvements to Steam Input. There have been reports from users that using a controller with Steam Input has been resulting in some problems here and there, so Guerilla and Nixxes Software has started addressing the issues. It isn't fully fixed, and these improvements are ongoing, but if you have a supported controller, you can entirely turn off Steam Input to mitigate these problems.

With this update, we also have some general performance and UI improvements, along with bug fixes for issues like your bow floating on its own in a cutscene, flickering shadows, and HUD markers will now render properly. There was also a nice fix for the pre-rendered cutscenes where they will now play at the same volume as the rest of the game.
