Wired Productions and developer Angry Demon Studio have just announced the release of a new demo for the upcoming cat-action game, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, on PC.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage Demo Trailer

The demo offers players the opportunity to flex some cat-titude along with their pawsitively pawsome skills as Gori, the adorable but deadly feline protagonist, navigates through a world litter-ly filled with challenges and enemies. The cat puns end right meow, I mean now!

The first level, previously exclusive to PC during Steam NextFest, is now available in the free demo. This updated Gori demo has better visuals and more features, such as the ability to use 'finishers' on weak enemies to gain health and energy. Another addition is the ability to execute "perfect dodges," in which players can temporarily slow down time by evading at the exact moment, giving them an advantage over their enemies.

Players can anticipate even more brutal and gory third-person hack-and-slash action in the latest Gori: Cuddly Carnage demo. The game occurs in a neon-lit future where players engage in brutal combat characterized by fast-paced action and intense devastation while performing gnarly acrobatics in a visually stunning and immersive environment. Slashing and dicing through hordes of zombie-like, mutant toys, Gori takes on this world while riding the foul-mouthed death-dealing hoverboard, F.R.A.N.K. The world's fate rests on Gori's shoulders!

We got a chance to try out the game's demo ahead of the public release on Steam Deck, and our CEO, Noah Kupetsky, loved his time with it! He mentions this could be his most anticipated game this year, which is very high praise.

On August 29, PC users will be able to purchase Gori: Cuddly Carnage for $21.99 / €21.99 / £17.99 from the official website. You can visit their Steam page and add Gori to your Wishlist now.
