Since the Steam Deck was released, one of the first games promoted was Control Ultimate Edition. The fact that you can play Control on the go was an insane idea, and it was shown off like clockwork. It's rated Verified and is a solid experience on the Deck, and the game just got a brand-new update that will make it a bit more enjoyable on the OLED Steam Deck.

Out of nowhere, Control got a brand new update that adds HDR support, which is awesome. We can really take advantage of this on the OLED Steam Deck, and I couldn't be happier. There is also an improved graphics adapter detection, so DX11 or DX12 should be automatically selected to make it easier to pick up and play.
The new update adds in even more though. Three pieces of pre-order exclusive suits and gear are now available for free to everyone, ultrawide monitor support has been added, SDR gameplay has been updated to 10bit colors to reduce visible color banding, texture streaming got some fixes, there's a new FOV scaling setting, DLSS has been updated with DLAA being added in.
You can check out the changelog for the update via Control's website.

Control Ultimate Edition can be purchased on Steam for $39.99, but you can get it on Fanatical for $7.19 right now.
