Following the main Summer Game Fest event on Friday, it's now time for the main Xbox Games Showcase of 2026! As always with Xbox, we can expect that their releases will also fall onto PC, so that's great news for Steam Deck (and future Steam Machine) players. Let's take a look at all the announcements!

Plenty of Gears of War: E-Day Gameplay Shown - Releases October 6th

The show opened with a hefty amount of gameplay footage from Gears of War: E-Day, which is releasing in just a few short months in October, and it looks like it's keeping the same visceral shooting and melee gameplay. No Mad World soundtrack this time round, though.

This one focused on the DMZ mode of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 game, where you have to infiltrate an area, secure resources, and then extract, all while dealing with various enemy threats.
