According to the Lenovo Legion Go subreddit, via PCGamer, many users are reporting that the latest BIOS update (released June 17th 2026) is bricking their handheld devices, rendering them unusable. The BIOS in question is version vN3CN42WW. If you have not updated your BIOS recently on your Lenovo Legion Go, we'd recommend you hold off on doing so until the issue is fixed.

To add even more misery to the users who are affected by this, it appears as though Lenovo themselves haven't acknowledged this as an issue on their end, and are charging users to have their Legion Go's fixed if the device is out of warranty, with one user in Europe quoted over $250 to have their device repaired by Lenovo.
If you are covered under warranty and are having issues, definitely check in with Lenovo to see if you can get your device repaired for free, as they appear to have replaced the motherboards in devices covered by warranty. Hopefully Lenovo will issue a statement addressing this issue, but so far the company hasn't mentioned it.
It's also worth noting that the issue only appears to affect the Lenovo Legion Go, not Legion Go 2 or Legion Go S devices.
