I love playing roguelikes, and Deadzone: Rogue looks like another one I can get behind. It's a first-person shooter that has over 30 different weapons that are modifiable both with upgrades and elemental powers. It looks like a high-packed action roguelike, and I love that you start out each battle in stealth and can plan out your attack and whether or not to use the environment or go for different enemies, and it can all be done alone or in co-op.

The game got a new update yesterday, and it contains a nice fix for those playing on the Steam Deck. There is an issue that thumbstick drift would cause some players to stay in cursor mode instead of going back to gamepad mode to make it easy to control. However, this issue has been fixed here, which makes it more playable if there's ever some drift.
The rest of the update is primarily focused on balance improvements and other bug fixes. The Glass Cannon mission has removed some enemies like the Spawner Bots and Cryo Spiders, while also increasing the base health to 300 and adding Shield Break Prevention. The Headhunter Mission makes it so non-weakpoint hits do reduced damage, and a soft lock in Zone 2 that could happen when Spawner Bots would die as soon as they fabricate a new bot has been fixed.
