Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. shared news at EVO 2025 about new DLC characters, including the Armor King, for TEKKEN 8. A new gameplay trailer was released on stage for Armor King, highlighting the iconic character's return to TEKKEN on October 16, 2025.

Players will also get 72-hour early access for Armor King if they have the Season 2 Character & Stage Pass or Season 2 Character Pass, which will begin on October 13. New DLC character Miary Zo was also teased in the trailer. She’s from Madagascar and will join the roster as a DLC character in Winter 2025.

Armor King is a jet-black villain who will make his debut in TEKKEN 8. This playable character has Dark Supernova, which makes his arsenal and moves more lethal, along with deadly combos. The game’s roster will be 39 fighters with the addition of Armor King.

Miary Zo is the next playable character that will arrive in the Winter DLC. Fans can see her moveset and powerful combos in the trailer.

Moreover, Arslan Ash emerged victorious in the EVO 2025 finals, making the show unforgettable and becoming a 6-time TEKKEN EVO Champion. The 2025 Tekken World Tour Finals will take place in Malmö, Sweden, from January 29 – February 1, 2026, as announced by Bandai Namco. The event will include group stages for Global and Regional Leaderboards.
