Resident Evil Requiem has been crushing it ever since it was released. It's one of the best Resident Evil games I have played, as I mentioned in my review, and it has been a blast to play on the Steam Deck. Oddly enough, the game actually got the "Unsupported" badge from Valve, mentioning that the game can't run well, no matter the graphical settings. However, after the latest update, the game's badge status has been upgraded!

You can save some money and get Requiem for $58.79 over on GreenManGaming, saving about $10 off MSRP.

Resident Evil Requiem

As of today, Resident Evil Requiem is now rated Playable on the Steam Deck, with the only knock against it mentioning you will need to manually configure the settings to perform well. This is exactly what I expected after trying it on the Deck, which is why I was initially so surprised by the "Unsupported" badge that it had on release.

This badge upgrade follows a new update that was pushed out for Requiem, which includes some issues fixed for progression, visual problems from upscaling, and multiple fixes to overall playability. It doesn't mention anything specific for the Steam Deck, but the timing of the update and the change of the badge does make it seem like it may have helped. Still, the game should be quite playable on the Deck, and I don't have doubts about that!
